Chinatown TAC and Working Groups

Chinatown Working Group (WG) and Technical Advisory Committee (TAC)

The City in conjunction with MIG, the consultant tasked to complete the Revitalization Plan (Plan), convened with WG and TAC members regularly throughout the 3 year planning process to help guide and shape the outcomes and recommendations of the Plan. Meetings were facilitated to be interactive, help promote engagement activities and opportunities for participation to allow representatives from various stakeholder groups to express their needs and vision for the Plan. Chinatown Working Group and TAC are advisory groups that helped strategize and provide input on the Plan. These groups included a wide range of stakeholders to reflect the diversity of the Chinatown community. The first WG & TAC meeting was held on April 5, 2017. In April of 2019, City and MIG staff merged the TAC and Working Group meetings into one meeting to revamp the planning efforts and finish the Revitalization Plan by the end of 2019.
